Introducing the new enhanced image page
When you find an ancestor on one of our images, you know how satisfying it can be and how much information you can gather from the image.
And it's getting even better. Coming soon, our new enhanced image page will show you the image of the historical document as well as the indexed information for each record on the same page, making it easier than ever to find your ancestors. You’ll also be able to add alternative information for several data points, view source information and see what other members have said about the image.

See the image and the index
If you've ever tried to read an image you know how handy it would be to see the indexed information on the same screen. On our enhanced image page, the index panel below the image will show you the transcription for each record.
Nobody knows your ancestors like you do
It's now even easier to add alternative names to our indices making it easier for other members to find their ancestors. And you can add alternative years and places as well. First look at what other members have added. If you don't see what you think is right, add it.
Connect with other members interested in the record
Find out who else is searching for your ancestors. The Member Connect panel will show you who has found this record to be an important piece of documentation for their family tree. You'll be able to connect with them, share information, and discover more together.
